Can I Make Money Online on eBay

There are many eBay business success stories published on the internet. You may have read some of them. But for every success story, there are actually thousand failures. People use their selling ideas and list all kinds of items on eBay for sales. But, the sad news is not many of them sell their items well. So, you may want to know can I really make money selling on eBay. The answer is yes, you can.

eBay isn't a marketplace that can help people get rich quick. You will be disappointed if you jump on to eBay and expect fast profit. Building a successful eBay business needs three ingredients: time, money and hard effort. With these ingredients, you can make good money.

Three Important Questions You Have to Ask Yourself
You need to ask yourself these questions before getting into eBay selling. How much capital do I have for inventory investment, eBay fees, and unforeseen expenses? How much time do I need to put into this eBay business? Do I possess the necessary energy and drive to build up this business? Once you have answered these questions, you will know exactly what course of action to take. If you have limited time and energy, you can begin by selling part-time on eBay. This is ok; many people who own a day job is doing fine in their part-time selling on eBay. There are monthly bills you have to pay; a new eBay business can't replace your income right away. It may take years of time.

Money can be a Problem
Money is another thing you have to think about. Do you have sufficient capital to build your business? If you have saved money for years, then money shouldn't be a problem that will obstruct you from building and growing your eBay business. But, if you don't have the available start-up fund, you can try to sell unwanted items from your home. This is a way to obtain some capital.

What You are Going to Sell
The three issues: money, time and energy have all been discussed, now it is time to find out what products to sell on eBay. You can sell almost anything on eBay but not everything sells well on eBay. Some items never sell because there are 100 other eBay sellers are listing the very same thing. Before you start an auction to list your item, do some market research. eBay offers a number of free resources for eBay sellers. Take advantage of all of them before listing your first item. Effective use of these free marketing tools and resources will give you an edge that others did not bother to look at. The information you obtain from your research will give you clear insight of what items to list in the eBay marketplace.

Know Your Competition
Competition is another thing you need to study. Avoid selling items that are in direct competition with those eBay power sellers. eBay power sellers generally have good feedback rating, probably people will prefer to buy from them. Also you will not want to become a rival of Wal-Mart as it is just too hard to profit with items that are selling on Wal-Mart. As a new eBay seller, you should sell something that has demand and the competition isn’t that tough. There is a good e-book that can help you find profitable items to list on eBay. The e-book is called overlooked treasure. It let you know 91 high demand every day items that you can sell for good profit. And the good news is many of these hot every day items aren’t in tough competition condition in eBay.

eBay Reputation
Your reputation and feedback ratings are very important for your eBay business success. Good customer service and fast delivery service will help you build your positive image on eBay. Your product description should always exactly describe the condition of your product. Be honest to the buyers, if the item is worn in any part; write it in the description to the let buyers know. Try your best to make your buyers satisfy on every purchase. If the transaction goes smoothly and the buyer satisfies with your product, then he/she will leave you a positive feedback. Your reputation will grow when you get positive feedbacks often. Good reputation will mean more people want to do business with you.

When your business started to generate consistent sales every month, it is time to expand. You can sell more categories of products to grow your customer base and business profit. When you eBay business grow from time to time and the profit it generates can cover your monthly living expenses, it is time to leave your day job and focus on your eBay business full-time.

Conclusion
Can I make money selling on eBay? Yes, you can with a good business planning and right selling strategies. Every business has to be run using proven business tactics. The same holds true for eBay. Take the time to study eBay selling techniques, read often to keep yourself up-to-date, make use of all of the free tools and resources provided by eBay and you can make money on eBay.

GTA IV (Indian Release) Delayed

As most of you have already realized by now, Grand Theft Auto IV's Indian release has been delayed. We got in touch with the game's local distributors who could not give us a new date but they're optimistic about getting the game within a week or so.

The reason the game's been delayed is because Take Two is facing acute shortage and since India is not a high priority market we just have to sit patiently and wait till they send us stock. Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened to us and I'm dead sure it's not the last time.

Sony Ericsson W380

Sony’s Walkman brand of cell phones often bring a little more to the table in terms of design, and the W380 is no exception. As mobiles go, the W380 is not designed for those of us who crave hi-tech features, but it should appeal to the funky, style-conscious youth of today. So, for all the cool dudes out there, here’s my take on the W380.

Form Factor
When I say ‘cutting-edge’ design, I mean something that looks really funky. By that yardstick, the W380 is definitely cutting-edge! It even looks as if its edge could cut you. I couldn’t resist that, sorry, but what I meant was the W380 seems a bit incomplete – when it’s open it has a very (how shall I put this?) cut-off-at-the-top look. But I loved the design ever since I first saw it last year.

The 1.9 inch TFT display (which I think could easily have been larger) has a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels and there's an external OLED mono display with a 128 x 36 pixel resolution. There are three audio player keys located under the external display that also provide haptic feedback when used.

The 1.3 megapixel camera is in the front. There's a cool sensor under the camera that lights up when a call comes in. What’s interesting about this is, if you wish to silence the handset, a gesture control feature lets you simply slide your hand up and down over the sensor to switch it to silent.

There's a proprietary slot on one side for USB, charging, and handsfree connectivity. On the other side is the volume control that could also be used to silence incoming calls without cutting the call. A small key-lock slider is located on the rear just above the battery panel.

Though Sony Ericsson provides hot-swap slots for its handsets you still need to remove the back panel to access it. So should we consider this hot-swap or lukewarm-swap? Nevertheless, the W380 supports M2 cards though the slot is unfortunately under the rear panel.

The W380 has a nice large keypad with a 5 way nav-pad and shortcut keys for the internet and other functions. The problem is that for some reason the keys are a bit hard to depress. Not that it’s in any way much of a hindrance; it just slows down message typing a wee bit.

Brian Lara International Cricket 2007

The ball’s hurtling towards you at 95mph, hit it for six and you’re a hero, miss it and you’re history… In Brian Lara International Cricket your every move is captured and analysed using innovative television presentation techniques.

I love cricket. I have played it since I was a small boy. My set of pads was way too big and my batting gloves made it hard to hold onto the bat. I watch it on TV whenever I get the chance, and I will see it live at my beloved MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground). I have even played a wide range of cricket games on PC. Some of them have been decent, some just plain awful. But recently, there seems to have been some improvement in cricket games, and Ricky Ponting International Cricket 2007 (aka Brian Lara International Cricket 2007) looks to be in the latter category.

From the moment the game is installed, Ricky Ponting puts the gamer in Calypso mode. The reason for this is that Ricky Ponting has been officially licensed by the ICC and includes the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007, based in the West Indies, as part of the game. The game begins with Rastafarian tunes blaring and immediately the game is livened up with the Caribbean flair. You could just imagine yourself sipping some of the regions finest rum while listening to the melodies. But there are more important things to do...

With the ICC Cricket World Cup currently in progress in the Caribbean, what could be better than winning the coveted trophy yourself? Well, if that?s not enough there is the Champions Trophy to win, as well as numerous other tournaments including Test tournaments, Twenty20 championships and custom ODI games. And with all World Cup teams as well as your own custom teams available, there is enough variety to keep the cricket fan going for some time.

One of the greatest strengths of Ricky Ponting is the ease of which anyone can just start to play a game. The batting and bowling both are very instinctive and have improved greatly from past cricket games. One of the nice little touches, though, is in the loading screens. They contain some cricketing terms that may not be familiar to gamers of non-cricketing backgrounds and gives definitions for such strange terms as Googly, Duck, Sticky Wicket and Leg Bye. This idea may only be minor, but it does give the gamer something to read whilst the game is loading and is interesting to boot.

There have been a number of new features added that make batting just that much more realistic and indeed more fun. Batting seems to have been made easier by the number of strokes available. Playing a shot is simply a matter of selecting the desired shot as well as the placement of the scoring stroke. By looking at the small radar in the bottom corner of the screen, the field placements can be seen, and suitable shots can be played. If the confidence is up, and the fielders are close in, it is possible to just hit over the top with relative assurance that you won?t get caught.

Confidence is one the great new features of the game. Batsmen now have a confidence meter, which improves as their stay at the crease continues. Once the batting meter gets high enough, it makes it easier for batsmen to pull off the big shots. Also, having a high confidence meter enables the batsman to dance down the pitch to loft the bowler back over his head. The confidence meter is a great concept, as it means the batsman must play himself in. But once you are in, hitting the big shot feels great. Watching the replay as the ball sails out of the playing arena and the crowd stand in appreciation of the marvellous strike is a thrill. But be warned, get it wrong and your batsman could be wincing in pain as the ball hits him in the, um... well, you know where. Hopefully he was wearing a protective box.

Running between wickets is also straightforward. Once the ball has been hit, selecting the run button gets the batsmen running between the wickets. Pressing again gets them going for another run. A small inset box is displayed in the top-left corner of the screen, so you can see their progress. If you think you?ve made a mistake going for that sneaky single, you can always change your mind. If your batsman looks to be in trouble he will dive for the line in an attempt to make it back into his crease. Inevitably though, run-outs do occur. If it is close, the umpire will refer his decision to the third umpire and a decision will be given.

Its a great Game. When i played this game it is pretty good than 2005 but it still requires plenty of updates(especially AI part).I liked hitting plenty of sixes & four's but i always on highest difficulty level Of AI's, still it is so easy to defeat them.Multi-player was like okay, but custom players should be available in Multi-player & Single player World Cup modes, etc.Plenty of improvements in Batting & Bowling has been done.Fielding was kind of same like 2005 nothing much different. But Its great Game though with some improvements.I still like BLIC 2007.I hope next game will be more realistic espcially AI's part.

Slipstream Windows Vista with SP1 & Create a Bootable Vista SP1 DVD

This guide illustrates the various steps required to integrate Service Pack 1 files into Windows Vista installer via a process commonly known as slipstreaming.
Once the Vista SP1 slipstream pack is ready, you can burn those files to make a bootable Vista Service Pack 1 DVD.

Before we get started, here are four things you need to slipstream Windows Vista and Service Pack 1 files:

a. Windows Vista Installer DVD and Windows Vista Service Pack 1 Installer
b. vLite Installer
c. A blank DVD disc for writing the Vista SP1 files and few gigs of free hard disk space.

Now that you have all the ingredients ready, let’s get slipstreaming Vista SP1:

1. Insert the original Windows Vista DVD disk and start vLite (install the program if you haven’t done that already).

2. Browse for the folder that contains your Windows Vista files (i.e., your DVD Drive letter). vLite will now copy all the files to some local folder that is specified by you.

4. Once all the pre-SP1 Windows Vista files are copied to the local hard disk, specify the Windows Vista Edition that you want to slipstream. This step is necessary because installers for all Vista Editions are shipped in one DVD.

5. On the next screen, select the following tasks "Service Pack Slipstream" and "Bootable ISO" -> next -> select the location of standalone Windows Vista SP1 installer file.

6. vLite can take 60-90 minutes for integrating all the SP1 files into Vista Installer. Once this process is complete, change the mode to "Direct Burn", pop a blank DVD and Burn.

Your Windows Vista SP1 Bootable DVD will be ready in few minutes.

Sony Color Flexible OLED: worlds first 16.7 million bendy display

We have seen a few of these bendy displays over the last couple of weeks (weird none for a while then they all come out at once); this is Sony’s display that is a 160×120 pixel, 2.5-inch OLED flexible plastic film.

You got to love the idea of these flexible TFT’s as they could be used in so many ways and in hundreds of gadgets, but let’s not get too excited as we won’t likely see these on the market any time soon.

The colors are way more than on the flexible screens that LG Philips and Samsung were showing, in fact millions more colors at 16.7 million for the Sony OLED.

The Sony display is the world’s first 24-bit color depth flexible screen and the screen is just 0.3-mm thin which also beats Sony’s rivals.

What would make an Xbox 360 owner move to Sony PS3?

With prices of the Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 being very close, currently the Playstation 3 is known to have the much better hardware but not the better choice of games.

What would make an Xbox 360 owner move to Sony PS3?

For thousands of people world-wide the answer was simply “RROD”, the hardware was so unreliable that many 360 owners went and brought a PS3 for better hardware and less games (in the hope for more in time).

Now the sides are even:
The Xbox 360’s hardware seems to be much more reliable now with hardly any reports of RROD, so it seems Microsoft have fixed this issue.

The Sony PS3 has not only won the High Definition movie war, but 2008 will see them increase the games collection massively, while it will still not be as good as the Xbox 360 in games collection, it will have more games than you have time to play.

The Xbox 360 has more gamers, so what would make an Xbox 360 owner move to Sony PS3?

Hands-on with Sony PS3 update v2.20

It’s official, we now have the new PS3 update v2.20 and it’s been downloaded and installed…what’s new you may ask?

Lets Tell You:
Sadly there is no “Portable Copy”, which is a shame as I really wanted the ability to easily copy a Blu-ray film to the PSP (a smaller version obviously).

The improved features from PS3 firmware 2.20 include the ability to play Divx content that is over 2GB and play Divx video subtitles, starting playback from where you stopped on Blu-ray or DVD now works (although some discs do not support Resume Play).

The biggest improvement is the new BD Profile 2.0 for the PS3, this means the PlayStation 3 features BD-Live and that lets you connect to the internet via special Blu-ray discs to get related content to that movie/disc (first two out next month).

While Portable Copy is not yet a feature, you can now copy playlists from the PS3 and the content they contain to your Playstation Portable.

Make Money As An Affiliate

There are various affiliate programs online that will pay you commission for selling their products. These are a great way to make money online if you know how to promote it. You'll first need a website and get some traffic to it as I discussed in my previous posts. Once you make your first sales, your profit will increase exponentially as your site becomes more popular.

A great way to promote products and build traffic at the same time is to start a review site. You just list the products and promote your site. Then the users buy the products and post reviews and basically run the site for you. You can actually make a living off of affiliate programs if you know what you're doing and advertise it effectively.

I have listed some popular affiliate programs below (search google for more info.):

ClickBan mostly sells digital products such as software or ebooks. ClickBank is a good site for starters because the sign up process is fast and doesn't require a lot of verification. You can get started right away.

Azoogle is another affiliate program which has many different things to sell. One disadvantage is that you need to get approved by a human editor before you can start selling and it could take a while depending on your application.

Amazon offers up to 8.5% commission on the sales you make for it. Amazon is a popular online store that sells all kinds of things and you can start your own store. You don't have to ship or anything, all you have to do is promote your store and you get commission for every sale. You can earn a lot of money here for selling things such as TVs or computers that can get you hundreds of dollars per sale if you are successful.

Commission Junction is a popular affiliate that gives you a percent of your sales. A variety of different items are available to promote at Commission Junction.

Maxbounty is an affiliate program for those who want to try to get commission from offers. The campaigns on the site are mainly sites that pay you when someone signs up for their service that you advertise.

Making money online (the easy way, which you're looking for!)

Are you looking for ways to make money online?
A relatively easy way, that anyone can accomplish?
Well, I have found one, it's called Bux.To!

Okay, cool, so what's it like?!
Bux.To is a site where you get approx 15 links to click every day
(or more if you have a so-called premium membership)

Each click is worth 0,01$, so how is this a serious way to make money?
Every day you will make 0,15$, if you upgrade for premium it will become $0.125 for each click.
With premium you get 30+ links per day, so you would get 0,50$ a day.

But that's just the basic concept, if you want to make LOTS, like at least 50$ a day, it's even EASIER.
All you need to do is buy so called 'refs', which are people like you who do clicking as well.
You get paid for every click they make, isn't that wonderful?
You invest a little bit of money, and get back 5 times that amount, it just may take a couple of weeks.

Blogging Your Way To Success

Everybody and their sister is blogging. I must admit I did not even consider this when I first heard about blogs as I do enough writing in my life. But then I read an article on blogging and thought "what the heck I'll go check out http://www.blogger.com."

Now you have to understand when I go to a website which is free, I read everything on that site for a "catch." I am a former IRS Revenue Officer so I tend to be a bit skeptical about free. I mean if I am going to use something, I want to know it's going to be there a year from now and not bite the dust.

Well two things intrigued me:

==>Blogger was bought out by Google and,

==>One of the ideas presented was about people making blogs into books.

The first meant with Google now owning Blogger, it should remain stable and on the Internet. Plus my marketing mind went into overdrive and I thought "well if Goggle now owns it, they will definitely put website links from these blogs in their search engines faster." Whether this is true or not, I don't know but the thought seemed logical.

As to making books, I loved the idea. I don't mean writing my rough draft like the man on the blogger site suggested but rather putting my free murder, mystery, suspense thriller on it and getting even more readers for it than the 2000 or more people who download it from my site each month. You see, my intention for "Conspiracy" is for it to be optioned and made into a movie.

You never know, a reader might have a sister or brother who is a friend of a friend who has a producer friend and they do lunch (huge grin here).

So I put it up and then I realized a weekly blog was a good way for me to get committed to writing the Paint Shop Pro 9 Tutorials I've been meaning to write for a while now. So I started another blog for this purpose.

And knowing I promised to write these tutorials for anybody reading my blog, made me keep at it until I had 20 tutorials.

Now you have to understand, I don't blog to put my private thoughts out there for people to read but rather I consider blogging as simply another way to help me on my road to success.

My blogs have a link back to my site and like I mentioned before, Google owns Blogger so I am sure it helped my site get reviewed more often while I was doing the blogs.

It can do the same for you! What do you know that others would love to know? One man makes a six figure income by writing blogs. And, blogspot.com (where your blogs are published) now offers you the opportunity to put up Google's Adsense ads or Amazon Associate ads and make a small amount of income while you blog. Seems like a win-win situation to me.

For those of you who do not want to go to the expense of putting up your own site or spend the time to learn how, consider "Blogging Your Way To Success." It's easy and fun!!
