Can I Make Money Online on eBay

There are many eBay business success stories published on the internet. You may have read some of them. But for every success story, there are actually thousand failures. People use their selling ideas and list all kinds of items on eBay for sales. But, the sad news is not many of them sell their items well. So, you may want to know can I really make money selling on eBay. The answer is yes, you can.

eBay isn't a marketplace that can help people get rich quick. You will be disappointed if you jump on to eBay and expect fast profit. Building a successful eBay business needs three ingredients: time, money and hard effort. With these ingredients, you can make good money.

Three Important Questions You Have to Ask Yourself
You need to ask yourself these questions before getting into eBay selling. How much capital do I have for inventory investment, eBay fees, and unforeseen expenses? How much time do I need to put into this eBay business? Do I possess the necessary energy and drive to build up this business? Once you have answered these questions, you will know exactly what course of action to take. If you have limited time and energy, you can begin by selling part-time on eBay. This is ok; many people who own a day job is doing fine in their part-time selling on eBay. There are monthly bills you have to pay; a new eBay business can't replace your income right away. It may take years of time.

Money can be a Problem
Money is another thing you have to think about. Do you have sufficient capital to build your business? If you have saved money for years, then money shouldn't be a problem that will obstruct you from building and growing your eBay business. But, if you don't have the available start-up fund, you can try to sell unwanted items from your home. This is a way to obtain some capital.

What You are Going to Sell
The three issues: money, time and energy have all been discussed, now it is time to find out what products to sell on eBay. You can sell almost anything on eBay but not everything sells well on eBay. Some items never sell because there are 100 other eBay sellers are listing the very same thing. Before you start an auction to list your item, do some market research. eBay offers a number of free resources for eBay sellers. Take advantage of all of them before listing your first item. Effective use of these free marketing tools and resources will give you an edge that others did not bother to look at. The information you obtain from your research will give you clear insight of what items to list in the eBay marketplace.

Know Your Competition
Competition is another thing you need to study. Avoid selling items that are in direct competition with those eBay power sellers. eBay power sellers generally have good feedback rating, probably people will prefer to buy from them. Also you will not want to become a rival of Wal-Mart as it is just too hard to profit with items that are selling on Wal-Mart. As a new eBay seller, you should sell something that has demand and the competition isn’t that tough. There is a good e-book that can help you find profitable items to list on eBay. The e-book is called overlooked treasure. It let you know 91 high demand every day items that you can sell for good profit. And the good news is many of these hot every day items aren’t in tough competition condition in eBay.

eBay Reputation
Your reputation and feedback ratings are very important for your eBay business success. Good customer service and fast delivery service will help you build your positive image on eBay. Your product description should always exactly describe the condition of your product. Be honest to the buyers, if the item is worn in any part; write it in the description to the let buyers know. Try your best to make your buyers satisfy on every purchase. If the transaction goes smoothly and the buyer satisfies with your product, then he/she will leave you a positive feedback. Your reputation will grow when you get positive feedbacks often. Good reputation will mean more people want to do business with you.

When your business started to generate consistent sales every month, it is time to expand. You can sell more categories of products to grow your customer base and business profit. When you eBay business grow from time to time and the profit it generates can cover your monthly living expenses, it is time to leave your day job and focus on your eBay business full-time.

Conclusion
Can I make money selling on eBay? Yes, you can with a good business planning and right selling strategies. Every business has to be run using proven business tactics. The same holds true for eBay. Take the time to study eBay selling techniques, read often to keep yourself up-to-date, make use of all of the free tools and resources provided by eBay and you can make money on eBay.

GTA IV (Indian Release) Delayed

As most of you have already realized by now, Grand Theft Auto IV's Indian release has been delayed. We got in touch with the game's local distributors who could not give us a new date but they're optimistic about getting the game within a week or so.

The reason the game's been delayed is because Take Two is facing acute shortage and since India is not a high priority market we just have to sit patiently and wait till they send us stock. Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened to us and I'm dead sure it's not the last time.

Sony Ericsson W380

Sony’s Walkman brand of cell phones often bring a little more to the table in terms of design, and the W380 is no exception. As mobiles go, the W380 is not designed for those of us who crave hi-tech features, but it should appeal to the funky, style-conscious youth of today. So, for all the cool dudes out there, here’s my take on the W380.

Form Factor
When I say ‘cutting-edge’ design, I mean something that looks really funky. By that yardstick, the W380 is definitely cutting-edge! It even looks as if its edge could cut you. I couldn’t resist that, sorry, but what I meant was the W380 seems a bit incomplete – when it’s open it has a very (how shall I put this?) cut-off-at-the-top look. But I loved the design ever since I first saw it last year.

The 1.9 inch TFT display (which I think could easily have been larger) has a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels and there's an external OLED mono display with a 128 x 36 pixel resolution. There are three audio player keys located under the external display that also provide haptic feedback when used.

The 1.3 megapixel camera is in the front. There's a cool sensor under the camera that lights up when a call comes in. What’s interesting about this is, if you wish to silence the handset, a gesture control feature lets you simply slide your hand up and down over the sensor to switch it to silent.

There's a proprietary slot on one side for USB, charging, and handsfree connectivity. On the other side is the volume control that could also be used to silence incoming calls without cutting the call. A small key-lock slider is located on the rear just above the battery panel.

Though Sony Ericsson provides hot-swap slots for its handsets you still need to remove the back panel to access it. So should we consider this hot-swap or lukewarm-swap? Nevertheless, the W380 supports M2 cards though the slot is unfortunately under the rear panel.

The W380 has a nice large keypad with a 5 way nav-pad and shortcut keys for the internet and other functions. The problem is that for some reason the keys are a bit hard to depress. Not that it’s in any way much of a hindrance; it just slows down message typing a wee bit.

Brian Lara International Cricket 2007

The ball’s hurtling towards you at 95mph, hit it for six and you’re a hero, miss it and you’re history… In Brian Lara International Cricket your every move is captured and analysed using innovative television presentation techniques.

I love cricket. I have played it since I was a small boy. My set of pads was way too big and my batting gloves made it hard to hold onto the bat. I watch it on TV whenever I get the chance, and I will see it live at my beloved MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground). I have even played a wide range of cricket games on PC. Some of them have been decent, some just plain awful. But recently, there seems to have been some improvement in cricket games, and Ricky Ponting International Cricket 2007 (aka Brian Lara International Cricket 2007) looks to be in the latter category.

From the moment the game is installed, Ricky Ponting puts the gamer in Calypso mode. The reason for this is that Ricky Ponting has been officially licensed by the ICC and includes the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007, based in the West Indies, as part of the game. The game begins with Rastafarian tunes blaring and immediately the game is livened up with the Caribbean flair. You could just imagine yourself sipping some of the regions finest rum while listening to the melodies. But there are more important things to do...

With the ICC Cricket World Cup currently in progress in the Caribbean, what could be better than winning the coveted trophy yourself? Well, if that?s not enough there is the Champions Trophy to win, as well as numerous other tournaments including Test tournaments, Twenty20 championships and custom ODI games. And with all World Cup teams as well as your own custom teams available, there is enough variety to keep the cricket fan going for some time.

One of the greatest strengths of Ricky Ponting is the ease of which anyone can just start to play a game. The batting and bowling both are very instinctive and have improved greatly from past cricket games. One of the nice little touches, though, is in the loading screens. They contain some cricketing terms that may not be familiar to gamers of non-cricketing backgrounds and gives definitions for such strange terms as Googly, Duck, Sticky Wicket and Leg Bye. This idea may only be minor, but it does give the gamer something to read whilst the game is loading and is interesting to boot.

There have been a number of new features added that make batting just that much more realistic and indeed more fun. Batting seems to have been made easier by the number of strokes available. Playing a shot is simply a matter of selecting the desired shot as well as the placement of the scoring stroke. By looking at the small radar in the bottom corner of the screen, the field placements can be seen, and suitable shots can be played. If the confidence is up, and the fielders are close in, it is possible to just hit over the top with relative assurance that you won?t get caught.

Confidence is one the great new features of the game. Batsmen now have a confidence meter, which improves as their stay at the crease continues. Once the batting meter gets high enough, it makes it easier for batsmen to pull off the big shots. Also, having a high confidence meter enables the batsman to dance down the pitch to loft the bowler back over his head. The confidence meter is a great concept, as it means the batsman must play himself in. But once you are in, hitting the big shot feels great. Watching the replay as the ball sails out of the playing arena and the crowd stand in appreciation of the marvellous strike is a thrill. But be warned, get it wrong and your batsman could be wincing in pain as the ball hits him in the, um... well, you know where. Hopefully he was wearing a protective box.

Running between wickets is also straightforward. Once the ball has been hit, selecting the run button gets the batsmen running between the wickets. Pressing again gets them going for another run. A small inset box is displayed in the top-left corner of the screen, so you can see their progress. If you think you?ve made a mistake going for that sneaky single, you can always change your mind. If your batsman looks to be in trouble he will dive for the line in an attempt to make it back into his crease. Inevitably though, run-outs do occur. If it is close, the umpire will refer his decision to the third umpire and a decision will be given.

Its a great Game. When i played this game it is pretty good than 2005 but it still requires plenty of updates(especially AI part).I liked hitting plenty of sixes & four's but i always on highest difficulty level Of AI's, still it is so easy to defeat them.Multi-player was like okay, but custom players should be available in Multi-player & Single player World Cup modes, etc.Plenty of improvements in Batting & Bowling has been done.Fielding was kind of same like 2005 nothing much different. But Its great Game though with some improvements.I still like BLIC 2007.I hope next game will be more realistic espcially AI's part.
